Throw Away Your Ambien and Trazodone, You No Longer Need Them

August 1, 2022

I know, you’re thinking “WHAT!!??, Throw away my Trazodone!? Are you nuts?” .. But I am not nuts, I am being completely serious. Sleep disorders affect 70 (seventy) million people in the United States alone (according to the CDC). The results of sleep disorders is disastrous on people in addition to their friends, family, co-workers, work performance, along with so many other aspects of everyday life. Sleep disorders can easily ruin lives and relationships. The sleep disorder market is somewhere near a 15 (fifteen) Billion Dollar per year industry, and it’s growing larger every year. So many attributing factors exist including increased stress levels which no matter who you are, are higher today than ever. Mild sleep disorders can and will get worse over time if not addressed. Ignoring the issue can lead to much more serious conditions including narcolepsy, depression, sleep apnea, hallucinations, obesity, insomnia, circadian disorders, sleep paralysis; All of which do serious damage to your body and mind.

So you can easily see how it pays for the medical establishments to keep you from sleeping well, there’s a multi-billion dollar per year industry at stake. Part of the industry intake comes from prescription medications such as Ambien and Trazodone (along with a plethora of others). That’s great if they actually worked properly, with no side effects too, but we all know that will never happen. Every single night, millions of Americans go to bed after downing as much Ambien or Trazodone as it takes to put them down … However there’s downsides and they’re called SIDE EFFECTS and RISKS. Let’s address Trazodone first. Known side effects (you’re told this in the tiny printed manufacturer insert that comes with your prescription) include (These are the ‘simple’ side effects) vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, loss/gain appetite or weight, weakness, tiredness, anxiety, nervousness, dizziness, lightheadedness, angle-closure glaucoma, nightmares, muscle pain, dry mouth, rash, multiple sexual problems, uncontrollable shaking. MORE SERIOUS side effects include (in addition to the above) chest pain, irregular heartbeat, loss of consciousness (coma), fainting, seizures, shortness of breath, unusual bruising or bleeding, small red or purple dots on the skin, headache, problems with thinking, concentration, or memory, coordination problems, fever, sweating, confusion, fast or irregular heartbeat, and severe muscle stiffness or twitching, agitation, hallucinations, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. The label for Trazodone also warns you “Trazodone can cause painful, long lasting erections in males. In some cases emergency and/or surgical treatment has been required and, in some of these cases, permanent damage has occurred. Talk to your doctor about the risk of taking trazodone. Trazodone may cause other side effects. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication.

Whew! That was a mouth full, and that was just Trazodone. I myself did not even realize the ‘side effects’ list was so long (until I wrote it out myself) that I am not even going to address Ambien here because the list will be huge and most definitely repeat a lot of the same side effects. I do not know about you, but reading that list scares the heck out of me and is a huge part of the reason for the creation of our Sweet Dreams Tincture. Click around our site (top menu), read about our product (I won’t try to ‘sell’ you here, you’ll convince yourself just by reading about it) and get ready to THROW AWAY YOUR PRESCRIPTION SLEEP AIDS!
